The Bill Weychert State Farm Agency is seeking an Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our Roxborough office at 6001 Ridge Avenue in Philadelphia.

This position is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys supporting existing clients, resolving concerns, and building long-term relationships while also contributing to the agencys monthly in-book sales and retention goals.

You will work primarily with the agencys current book of business, assisting customers with renewals, policy changes, billing questions, claims-related needs, and general service requests. During these conversations, you will also identify potential coverage gaps and recommend additional insurance products that provide meaningful value to the customer.

The right candidate will lead with service, communicate confidently, and feel comfortable transitioning customer conversations into needs-based sales opportunities. This is a full-time, in-office role within a supportive agency environment that values accountability, professional growth, and excellent customer care.

Responsibilities

Communicate with existing customers regarding renewals, policy questions, coverage needs, and account updates

Provide calm, professional assistance with billing, policy, and claims-related concerns

Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and other account updates accurately

Conduct proactive account reviews to ensure customers have appropriate and current coverage

Identify potential coverage gaps within the agencys existing book of business

Transition service conversations into appropriate in-book sales opportunities

Recommend additional insurance products using a needs-based, customer-first approach

Meet established monthly sales and retention goals while maintaining high service standards

Follow up with customers regarding open service requests and coverage recommendations

Maintain accurate documentation of customer conversations, account activity, and follow-up needs

Collaborate with other team members to support customer retention, agency growth, and service objectives

Deliver a positive and professional customer experience during every interaction

Requirements

Strong customer service mindset with the confidence to transition into sales conversations when appropriate

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to build relationships and establish trust with customers

Strong problem-solving skills and consistent follow-through

Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused office

Professional, dependable, team-oriented, and coachable

Previous customer service, account management, or insurance experience preferred

Ability to work full-time and in-office at the Roxborough location

Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses are required

**Candidates who are not fully licensed must obtain their Property & Casualty license before their first day of employment

Willingness to obtain any remaining required insurance licenses
