Salary The salary range for this position is $64,962.45 to $105,602.61 for Schedule A, and $64,962.45 to $100,322.50 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Responsibilities Supervising the day-to-day operations of a case management team, in person and remote. Regulating workflow in accordance with operating schedules. Ensuring team members function in accordance with human resource policies, laws, and regulations. Advising management on personnel issues and addressing work performance deficiencies. Compiling statistical data on workload volume and court/unit operations. Monitoring backlog and implementing leadership strategies to accomplish unit goals. Interacting daily with judges and their chamber staff. Coordinating work hours, vacation time, and overseeing special projects. Mediating staff conflicts and reviewing written reports. Experience in automated systems to include ACMS, eCourts and the use of virtual platforms (i.e. Zoom and Microsoft Teams) is helpful. Remote Work The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree. Three years of paraprofessional and/or professional experience, one year of which shall have included experience in case management; enforcement of court orders; and/or supervision, monitoring and intervention of offenders. Substitution Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis. An associate degree and two years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. A master's degree may be substituted for one year of general experience, or a law degree may be substituted for two years of general experience. Additional Information Driver's License: Required only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties. Background Check: Newly hired employees must agree to a thorough background check, including fingerprinting. Residency Law: New Jersey Judiciary employees must establish and maintain principal residence in the State of New Jersey within one year of hire. #J-18808-Ljbffr
