Diagnostic Radiologic TechnologistThe DRT-CT will perform routine to moderately complex radiographic examination procedures. These exams are achieved by using diagnostic x-ray equipment such as fluoroscopic units, the chest unit and general diagnostic units and portable units. Duties include but are not limited to the following:Schedules exams in a manner so as to optimize scanner times while maintaining flexibility for emergency casesConfers with radiologists to determine requirement of non-standard exams.Performs CT angiography, including spine, head and neck studies utilizing highly sophisticated x-ray equipment such as computerized fluoroscopy, pressure injectors, patient monitors, etc.Works with the radiologist as a member of the surgical/radiographic team.Prepares contrast materials that are used in CT/angiography and other exams.Practices radiation safety in order to reduce exposure to patients, staff and self.Maintains records and files of exams performed on patients in the computerized information system.Responsible for stocking inventory of all CT supplies and related materials.Work Schedule: Week 1- Tuesday, Wednesday, & Saturday 7:00AM-7:00PM Week 2- Sunday, Monday, & Thursday 7:00AM-7:00PM Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM -Schedule is subject to change based off of clinic needs.Recruitment/Relocation Incentives (Sign-on Bonus): Not AuthorizedPermanent Change of Station (Relocation Assistance): Not AuthorizedPay: Competitive salary and regular salary increases.
