Working within the therapeutic program at Kennedy Elementary, you’ll gain exposure to innovative co-teaching models and receive significant support from a BCBA, social worker, and fellow educators. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher Licensure required
• Experience or coursework in trauma-informed practices at the elementary school level strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate in a co-taught environment alongside social workers and behavioral specialists

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction within the TLC (Therapeutic Learning Classroom)
• Collaborate daily with a dedicated social worker and BCBA to support student growth
• Utilize trauma-informed methods to create a safe and nurturing classroom environment
• Develop and implement IEPs
• Maintain consistent communication with families and the educational team
