Job Title: Engineer III – ServiceNow Reporting & Power BI

Location: Reston, VA / Plano, TX
Duration: 6+ Months ( NO BENEFITS )
Work Model: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Engineer III with 10+ years of professional experience in ServiceNow reporting, Power BI dashboard development, and reporting automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building data-driven reporting solutions, developing executive-level dashboards, defining KPIs, and automating recurring reporting processes across enterprise environments.

The role also requires familiarity with endpoint management technologies, including Omnissa Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune, along with knowledge of macOS troubleshooting, mobile device support, security compliance, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports, dashboards, Performance Analytics, and data extracts to support operational and management reporting.

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and executive-level reports using ServiceNow and other enterprise data sources.

• Build data models, measures, KPIs, and visualizations to provide actionable insights into operational performance, compliance, service health, and engineering effectiveness.

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy through automation, scripting, APIs, and workflow technologies.

• Automate recurring reporting activities, including data collection, validation, distribution, and notifications.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, service management, and leadership teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into measurable KPIs.

• Develop automated reporting solutions using Power Automate, PowerShell, Python, or similar automation frameworks.

• Monitor system performance, compliance, and logging activities to identify potential issues and improvement opportunities.

• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to investigate incidents using log data and support endpoint protection and policy enforcement.

• Provide technical support for endpoint management platforms, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, document incidents and resolutions, and maintain accurate technical documentation.

• Support change management processes, including implementation, documentation, and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall professional experience in engineering, enterprise IT, reporting, automation, or related technical roles.

• Strong experience developing and maintaining ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI dashboard development and executive reporting.

• Experience with data modeling, KPI development, measures, and data visualization.

• Proficiency in reporting automation using Power Automate, PowerShell, Python, APIs, or comparable technologies.

• Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple enterprise sources.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Omnissa Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune for endpoint and device management.

• Intermediate knowledge of macOS support and troubleshooting.

• Experience supporting iOS and Android devices, including smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications.

• Familiarity with endpoint security, compliance monitoring, policy enforcement, and system logging.

• Experience with incident management, problem management, and change management processes.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow IT service management workflows and enterprise support environments.
