The position requires a night shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. Travel experience in Labor and Delivery is highly preferred. Certifications in BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate course are mandatory. Nurses may float to other units but will only provide OB-specific care alongside a primary nurse. Experience with high-risk deliveries and various labor management techniques is essential. The role involves providing skilled nursing care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery. Candidates should be proficient in using external and internal fetal monitoring and managing complications. The nurse will be responsible for assessing and monitoring both maternal and fetal conditions. Excellent communication skills and teamwork are vital in this role.
