Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

RN – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Weekly hours: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours/week Shift options: Confirm shift in submittal (e.g., 3x12, 4x12) Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Minimum 2 years ICU experience required Travel RN experience: Required Previous charge experience: Preferred Trauma experience: Level II required; Level I preferred Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Experience with the charting system: Epic (required) Strong cardiac knowledge required

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a multidisciplinary ICU setting. Monitor and assess patient conditions, utilizing advanced medical techniques. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including titration of vasoactive drips. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Execute emergency interventions as needed, ensuring patient safety and stability. Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to provide relevant patient information.

Orientation: 36 hours Pre-approved time off: Two requests allowed Facial hair must allow proper fit testing (may be required to shave) Monthly parking passes available (contact Public Safety)
