Title : Maintenance Mechanic
Location : Sherman, TX
Hire Type : Contract to Hire
Shift : Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm
Hourly Rate : $23.00-25.00

Summary: Maintain equipment according to the Preventive Maintenance program. Diagnose and repair mechanical problems and perform emergency and proactive repairs of buildings and grounds, production equipment, and machinery while minimizing down time.

Job Duties:

• Core competencies are:

o Electrical

o Hydraulics

o Pneumatics

• Knowledge of LOTO and SDS is required
• Repair emergency/reactive repairs of production equipment and machinery minimizing downtime
• Performs inspection of completed maintenance and documents results
• Complete and maintains paperwork for maintenance performed
• Operate Forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment as necessary
• Read and follow QWI and other work instructions necessary to properly assembly product
• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, replace or repair parts to mechanical, electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic components

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills
• Mechanical and technical aptitude
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• PLC experience
