Estate Manager

Location: North Miami Beach, FL

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Full-time, live-out position. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours; however, flexibility is required for evenings, weekends, holidays, family events, and occasional travel as needed.

Position Overview

A private family office is seeking an experienced, hands-on Estate Manager to oversee the daily operations of a large North Miami Beach estate. Reporting to the Director of Estates, this individual will serve as a trusted leader responsible for managing the property, household staff, vendors, projects, and day-to-day operations with the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, mentor, and develop household staff and service providers.
• Recruit, hire, schedule, and oversee household employees and contractors.
• Manage vendors, maintenance projects, repairs, renovations, and capital improvements.
• Oversee all estate systems, including smart home technology, security, HVAC, and other advanced home systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for the residence and grounds.
• Manage household budgets, invoices, expense tracking, and reporting.
• Oversee vehicles, watercraft, and other estate assets.
• Plan and execute events ranging from intimate family gatherings to large-scale entertaining.
• Manage staff scheduling, payroll approvals, inventory, and household purchasing.
• Provide hands-on support to the family and guests while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of Estate Management experience within a private residence, family office, or luxury hospitality environment.
• Required experience managing a luxury estate of at least 15,000 square feet.
• Required experience overseeing a household staff of 6+ employees , including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Proven experience managing diverse household teams, including chefs, housekeepers, maintenance staff, landscapers, and outside vendors.
• Experience managing construction projects, renovations, or major capital improvements preferred.
• Experience planning and overseeing events of varying size and complexity.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estate management technology.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and reference verification.

Compensation & Benefits

$200,000-$250,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
