About the Job:

The Packaging Designer is responsible for creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing packaging solutions for a variety of products within the accessories division (legwear, bodywear, bags, hats) that ensure alignment with brand identity, consumer expectations, regulatory standards, and production requirements. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment on both the creative and technical sides of packaging to achieve company goals and enhance customer experience.

Essential Functions (Including but not limited to):

• Create and design packaging for a variety of brands and product categories; bellybands, hangtags, boxes, and more.
• Ensure packaging for each program reflect the design direction, brand's identity, and customer/distribution requirements.
• Create conceptual design boards and appealing presentations for internal teams (design, sales) and external partners (brands, customers).
• Digital and physical packaging submissions to the license and/or customer for approvals.
• Packaging development with multiple factories; detailed layout review, cost and lead time comparison, and sample execution to establish approved color and quality standards.
• Prepare artwork, dielines, mockups, technical files, and production-ready assets for manufacturing.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure that packaging is produced to specification and within the required timelines.
• Ensure packaging meets both aesthetic and functional standards before mass production.
• Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operations.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in design or related area and 2+ years of relevant experience in the apparel design industries.
• Highly proficient in MAC OS, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop• Experience in Graphic and Packaging Design and Development
• High creativity and artistic abilities with keen attention to detail and ability to visualize in three dimensions.
• Proficient computer skills to include Adobe Suite programs and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and workload efficiently and seamlessly and follow-up.
• Excellent written and verbal skills as required for effective interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team under critical time frames.
• Self-driven and experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the company/department.
