Kitchen Helper

Responsible for various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dish and pot washing, general kitchen cleaning, and the storing of food and non-food supplies. Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary.

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

1. Responsible for setting up and maintaining dish and pot washing areas.
2. Responsible for cleaning and storing all pots, dishes, and utensils.
3. Clean production equipment as needed or directed by supervisor.
4. Remove rubbish from building on a regular basis.
5. Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
6. Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
7. Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
8. Attend all in-services as required.
9. Perform all other reasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Educational Requirements and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent, but not necessary
• Must be able to read and write
• Follow instructions with a positive attitude
