Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educators. While primarily remote, opportunities for in-person interactions, meetings, and team-building activities may occur as needed. You will predominantly work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, rotating weekends, and on-call availability to ensure responsive care during critical situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the individual needs of students with special requirements.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that support students' emotional wellness and successful integration into the school environment.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for a wide range of conditions, including autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, and trauma.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions focused on fostering personal growth, enhancing emotional regulation, and equipping students with effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to facilitate a holistic approach to care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and effective support for students in distress.

• Provide psychoeducation to students and families, equipping them with knowledge about mental health conditions and available resources.

• Maintain precise documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards, ensuring seamless communication within the multidisciplinary team.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case conferences, contributing to ongoing staff development and program improvement.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Virginia.

Preferred Experience\n
