TERA MERA is a warm, intimate, very successful family-run restaurant, wine- and cocktail-bar, inspired by the flavors of Bombay and the traditions of Sindhi home cooking. We're looking for a skilled, hospitality-driven Bartender to join our team and help bring our Indian-inspired beverage program to life.
Our cocktail menu leans into bold, house-made flavors such green mango, curry leaf oil, saffron and house-made gin and liquors, alongside a thoughtfully curated wine list that includes French, Italian, American and Indian labels featuring natural and traditional wines. This is a great fit for someone who takes pride in precision, loves guest interaction, and wants to be part of a small, owner-operated restaurant where craft, creativity and hospitality go hand in hand.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard of consistency and presentation
• Execute house-made ingredients and cocktail builds accurately (syrups, tinctures, infusions, liqueurs)
• Maintain full working knowledge of the cocktail and wine menus, including ingredients, flavor profiles, and pairing recommendations
• Deliver warm, attentive, knowledgeable guest service at the bar
• Manage bar setup, breakdown, and inventory; track pours and minimize waste
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards at the bar station
• Communicate effectively with FOH and BOH during service
• Assist with restocking, ordering support, and vendor coordination as needed
• Participate in ongoing beverage training, including new cocktail rollouts and wine education

Qualifications
• Previous bartending experience, ideally in a full-service restaurant
• Strong foundation in classic cocktail technique, with interest in more involved, ingredient-driven builds
• Working knowledge of wine a plus
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Comfortable with POS systems
• TIPS or other responsible alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Available nights, weekends, and holidays (closed Monday/Tuesday)
• A collaborative, hands-on approach and appreciation for independent, chef owner-operated restaurants
