This role will be full-time 40 hours per week, four shifts a week at ten hours per shift with on-call requirement. Demonstrates evidence of self-development activities (beyond orientation) and attends services/seminars related to field./liliAnticipates/maintains lab supply needs during procedures. Supports and suggests departmental cost-saving strategies and provides care in an efficient and cost conscious manner./liliPerforms higher-level tasks in the care of cardiac cath patients (e.g. Impella and new technologies)./liliProvides complete care of patients with complex needs to achieve desired outcomes including patients on life support systems (e.g. ventilator and ECMO)./liliMay perform additional duties as assigned./li/ulpstrongAdditional Requirements:/strong/pulliLicensure - Registered Nurse upon start. If the team member doesnt possess one of the above registries, the team member must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse./liliCertification - Basic Life Support from American Heart Association upon start; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support upon start; Registered in one of the following: RCIS, RCES, RTRVI, RTRCV, RTRCI, unless a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, CPR; ACLS if Critical Care Certification./liliExperience - One year of experience at an Inova cath lab or EP lab at a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 2 level. Two years of equivalent experience/training in an interventional cardiac Cath Lab or an Electrophysiology Lab./liliEducation - Associate Degree - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience./li/ulpWe are Inova, Northern Virginias leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
