Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is a high-commitment, center-based ABA Therapy program. Rooted in the evidence that early, high-intensive ABA Therapy leads to the greatest potential reached by children on the autism spectrum, we specialize in providing services to young children.As leading experts in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), the academy's highly-trained clinicians develop individualized, one-on-one programs that help children break down routine tasks into manageable steps. This type of therapy helps children with autism improve communication ability, daily living skills, and the social behaviors necessary to thrive in school, at home, and in their community.Schedule: Full time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, in centerCompensation & Benefits:Pay Range: $18-$24, increases based on education and experiencePaid time offBenefits plan - medical, dental, vision, etc.Tuition Discount Program401KPracticum Program for aspiring BCBA's - earn your supervision hours!Registered Behavior Technician job responsibilities include:Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment trainingFollow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as outlined in the client's individualized treatment plan built by BCBA/BCCollect, record, and summarize data on observable client behaviorAssist with parent and caregiver training in line with the client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocolsEnsure documentation is completed on time and following established proceduresEffectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by BCBA/BCUtilize safe and appropriate procedures when working with clients and appropriately report all critical incidents and safety concernsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environmentAssist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials, behavior reduction assessments, and skills acquisitionRequired Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:Must hold and maintain current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)Must be willing to participate in the company's background check processMinimum of a High School Diploma or GED is requiredMust have reliable transportationMust be at least 18 years of ageWilling to obtain CPR and First Aid certificationWilling to obtain a tuberculosis (TB) test annuallyMust be able to physically perform this job, including getting down on the floor and standing up many times, lifting up to 50lbs and the ability to run/move quickly if required to do so for the interaction with and safety and protection of the children with whom you workStrong attention to detail with ability to do repetitive things in a precise mannerAbility to follow and carry out detailed instructionsStrong understanding of technology to be able to record data on a mobile device and navigate digital applicationsGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong cultural competency with ability to remain flexible and open mindedPerks of Working at Centria:Structured career path in the field of Behavioral AnalysisDiscounts to hundreds of retail partners via our Benefit HubAccess to Centria's Employee Assistance Plan with benefits around mental health and counselingEarly wage access to employees through Rain - Work today, get paid tomorrow!Unlimited opportunities to make an impact in the life of a special needs childWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
