Core duties include reconciling physical stock with digital records, preventing supply shortages, processing shipments, and managing inventory management software. Key Responsibilities Cycle Counting: Conduct routine physical counts of products and perform daily or weekly audits. Discrepancy Resolution: Reconcile differences between physical counts and system records to prevent shrinkage and losses. Shipping & Receiving: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, log items into databases, and package, label, and ship finished goods. Stock Management: Organize storage spaces, manage stock rotation (e.g., first-in, first-out) to ensure product freshness and accessibility; order and manage purchased input material, disposition of legacy material. Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels and place restock orders as needed. Reporting: Compile data on turnover rates, stock levels, and obsolete inventory for management. Requirements & Skills Education: High school diploma or GED; associate's degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in word processing, database systems, spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel); experience with modern ERP systems and RF scanners is highly valued. Physical Stamina: Stand for long periods, bend, and lift heavy merchandise or equipment (up to 30 lbs).
