Yard Checker
We are seeking a reliable Yard Checker to perform daily yard checks and assist with guard shack operations.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect trailers and compare information to yard reports.
- Verify trailer numbers and determine if trailers are empty or loaded.
- Open trailer/container doors as needed (up to 50 lbs).
- Enter trailer information into computer systems.
- Assist with driver check-ins, guard logs, and WMS data entry.
Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Prior clerk, dispatch, guard shack, or logistics experience required.
- Resume required for consideration.
- Must have own vehicle to do yard check onsite.
Training, safety vest, gloves, flashlight, clipboard, and paperwork are provided.
