Security Analyst III

Position Overview The IT Security Operations Specialist will participate in Global Security Operations activities, including prevention, detection, and response to IT security incidents worldwide. Responsibilities include monitoring alerts, incident response, vulnerability assessment, threat intelligence, digital forensics, IT security strategy implementation, and serving as a security advisor. Essential Functions Demonstrate high knowledge across IT Security domains and deep expertise in at least one domain (incident response, vulnerability assessment, or threat intelligence). Determine and develop solutions independently under general direction. Handle complex tasks such as security event analysis, vulnerability assessment, and reporting without defined procedures. Provide guidance, training, and leadership to less experienced staff; assist in leading projects for process and program development. Leverage knowledge of networking, operating systems, application architecture, cloud, log management, SIEM, SOAR, case management, and investigative techniques. Serve as specialists across one or several functions; recognize and respond to stakeholder needs, ensuring commitments are delivered. Operate tools and systems for vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, network intrusion detection, prevention, analysis, log management, SIEM, and SOAR; verify vulnerabilities, confirm security incidents, develop reports, and resolve system errors. Proactively sustain operations through procurement, renewals, and planning of software, hardware, and licensing; participate in IT Security planning and budgeting. Identify improvements and best practices; evaluate new security tools, techniques, and technologies. Apply knowledge of common enterprise IT architectures, platforms, and services (client/server, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and information security threats, vulnerabilities, exposures applicable to IT systems. Relationships Reports directly to the Manager of Global Security Operations – Americas. Works closely with IT operations staff, application development teams, system managers, line of business representatives, senior security personnel, and third‑party technology service providers. Physical Requirements 5% overnight travel required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Security (relevant experience may substitute). Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible relevant experience. Experience with Microsoft Defender for Incident Response. Ability to lead a project in development and implementation of processes and technology. Ability to develop and maintain relationships within the global organization. Strong attention to detail required. Experience with incident response and digital forensics. Vendor‑neutral technical certifications (CISSP, CISM, GCIH) preferred. Vendor‑sponsored and professional certifications (Microsoft, AWS, etc.) desirable. Compensation and Benefits The base compensation range is $99,600 – $184,200, determined by factors such as experience and performance. The position may also be eligible for a company bonus, long‑term incentive compensation, and/or company vehicles depending on level.
