Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control in San Juan Capistrano, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time / Mix Shift Pay Rate: $22.39 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon09:00 PM - 05:00 AMThur01:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSat09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSun09:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to control access, support visitor direction, and/or document security-related activity as required by site procedures. Assist with security-related support during high-traffic periods, after-hours operations, and/or emergency situations while maintaining professionalism and strong communication. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
