QA Inspector

JOB DESCRIPTION The Quality Inspector performs activities related to quality assurance including, but not limited to: inspection of components and finished goods, completing associated documentation, and supporting other quality-related activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Visual inspection, measurement, and functional testing of components and finished assemblies Perform other inspection activities as needed for process validations Document nonconformances when defects are identified Comply with all company policies and procedures General document review, scanning, and filing of quality records Assist in investigations as needed Other duties as assigned Demonstrates all corporate values: We think and act like owners. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma is required 2 years of experience performing inspections in a medical device manufacturing environment or equivalent is preferred Ability to read and write in English Experience with MS Office is required Ability to use common gauges and measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision systems, pin gauges, etc. Ability to follow controlled quality document instructions when performing tasks Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Knowledge of the application of sampling techniques Knowledge of good documentation practices in a regulated environment Ability to apply basic quality tools for problem‑solving and improvement Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to apply a high level of attention to detail and ability to work independently or as a team PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The employee is required to work in a cleanroom environment and is expected to follow the guidelines and rules for working in the cleanroom, including following gowning procedures, covering hair in a hairnet, and wearing personal protective equipment as appropriate. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently/occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. #J-18808-Ljbffr
