You'll manage a sophisticated client portfolio, lead a talented team, and tackle the challenging tax issues you love, all from anywhere in the US. No commute. No politics. Just great work and people who get it.
What You'll Actually Do
- Drive tax strategy for a balanced portfolio spanning business and individual clients
- Master complexity: review and manage intricate returns (partnerships, S-corps, C-corps, trusts, estates)
- Own engagements from planning through delivery, managing timelines, budgets, and expectations
- Be a trusted advisor with ongoing tax planning and advisory for business owners and high-net-worth individuals
- Solve problems across federal, state, and multistate tax matters
- Build the team by mentoring and developing junior and senior tax professionals
- Stay current with industry-standard tax software and best practices
We Need Someone With
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience (you know what excellence looks like)
- Current standing as a Tax Manager or proven Tax Supervisor ready for the next level
- Dual expertise in business and individual taxation
- Track record managing tax compliance projects and providing advisory services
- CPA or EA credential (non-negotiable)
Nice to have: Top 100 CPA firm background, familiarity with tax software platforms
