Job Description Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs or employee availability as variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular, or full‑time hourly. The primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Employees may be scheduled in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. All team members represent Regal consistently with the mission statement and company policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Box Office Operate POS system; accurately handle cash drawer, credit cards, traveler’s checks, gift cards, redemption tickets, passes and coupons. Upsell and suggestive sell Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX). Promote the Regal Crown Club program. Sell tickets in accordance with MPAA rating system and company policy. Respond to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner consistent with the guest service philosophy. Concession Operate POS system; accurately handle cash drawer, credit cards, traveler’s checks, gift cards, coupons, and concession stock inventory. Promote the Regal Crown Club program. Operate, prepare, and clean all concession equipment. Up‑sell and suggestive sell products. Comply with local, state, and federal food safety laws. Adhere to all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods. Maintain required alcohol certification and training where applicable. For theatres selling alcohol, be legally able to sell or serve alcohol in compliance with laws. Read and understand training materials covering sexual harassment and discrimination. Usher Tear tickets, collect and deposit appropriate stubs, and direct patrons to their auditoriums. Inspect backpacks and packages where applicable. Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats. Enforce MPAA rating system. Conduct in‑theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, detect film or content theft, and maintain a safe environment. Report problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations to management. Perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed. Clean auditoriums after scheduled shows and maintain restrooms, lobby area, hallways, and other non‑auditorium areas. Monitor cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment. Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned. Pay Scale Information $17.15 per hour. Benefits Free movie passes and discounted concessions at any Regal location. Eligibility for 401(k) retirement plan with company match after 21 years of age and six months of service. Education / Experience Completion of cast certification program as a cast member; completion of box office cashier certification or progress toward completion required. For theatres selling alcohol, completion of any legal state or local training and the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University required. Language Ability Good public speaking skills, effective listening, and clear, direct communication. Math Ability Perform calculations quickly, accurately, and correct errors. Occasional climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling. May lift up to 60 pounds.
