Associate Dentist

Seeking a skilled and patient-focused Associate Dentist. In this role, you will work alongside experienced dental professionals to provide comprehensive dental care, from diagnosis and treatment planning to a wide range of general dentistry procedures. Key Responsibilities Examine patients and review dental and medical histories to assess oral health conditions. Diagnose oral diseases and develop appropriate treatment plans. Perform general dentistry procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and other restorative treatments. Interpret X-rays, scans, and diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions. Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options. Prescribe medications as necessary in accordance with applicable regulations. Refer patients to specialists when advanced or specialized care is required. Maintain accurate and complete patient records in compliance with applicable regulations and privacy requirements. Ensure proper sterilization and infection control procedures are followed throughout the practice. Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care and practice operations. Participate in mentorship opportunities and ongoing professional development to expand clinical skills. Stay current with advancements in dental techniques, materials, and technologies. Qualifications And Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school. Active and valid dental license in good standing, as required by the state of practice. Strong clinical skills across a broad range of general dentistry procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration. Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Ability to manage time effectively and handle a varied caseload. Familiarity with dental practice management software and digital imaging systems is preferred, but not required. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality, professional conduct, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
