divh2Field Service Supervisor/h2pThe Field Service Supervisor is a team leader of a selected number of Field Engineers (FE). Their primary responsibility is managing and training of their direct employees, and verification of their work. They will be responsible for the mentoring of new hires into new construction field operations, as well as current FEs. They are responsible for working with the Project Management group in coordinating timely completion of all assigned projects. Ensure the field staff has the proper knowledge to perform that work and is executing their work at or under the project specific budget. Primarily responsible for coordinating all resources, internal and external, necessary for the execution of the new construction project their FEs are assigned to in Cora PPM./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3pCOMMUNICATION AND DOCUMENTATION/pulliProvide necessary documentation and communication to all customer levels, sub-contractors (when necessary), and ALC Department Management as well as ensure that the appropriate members of the field operations department do so./liliEnsure proper time utilization from timesheet collection, site visits, and daily logs in Cora PPM./liliFollow up on all daily log collection (Cora PPM) for the Field Engineers working for you and ensure timely delivery to New Construction Administration and Project Managers./liliBe able to utilize Cora PPM to generate reports, spreadsheets, and schedules when necessary./liliProfessionally represent Automated Logic in meetings and always be proactive in defending the companys best interest. Always be prepared for meetings, have the answers to questions that you know will be asked, and have the appropriate back-up personnel in attendance when necessary./liliLead, document, and participate in yearly and semi-yearly performance reviews for all of your employees/liliCommunicate with Engineering, Graphics developers and programmers to provide feedback on quality, accuracy and standards development./li/ulpBUDGET/pulliThoroughly understand project budgets for negotiated projects that are executed by the Field Supervisors team./liliContinuously monitor work being performed by FE to ensure Quality Control. Provide continuous feedback to direct reports regarding performance, budgets and quality. Escalate any personnel concerns and proactively manage expectations of employees./liliAttend and actively participate in turnover meetings, Pre bid meetings and other meetings deemed important to the job./liliPROJECT PLANNING AND SCHEDULING/liliCollaborate with Project Manager in maximizing execution of projects by coordinating task assignment in Cora PPM/liliParticipate in monthly meetings with Project Managers and the Branch Operations Managers to collaborate in assigning resources for all projects/liliProvide input to the Project Manager as to when resources will be needed on the project. This will include graphics, programming and technical checkout as required./liliCoordinate project schedule with electrical subcontractors and other trades to maintain schedule. Maintain continuous communications with FEs, Project Managers, Customers and other trades to ensure consistent understanding of the project schedule./li/ulpTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES/pulliField Supervisor will be or become proficient on all necessary ALC programming and graphical work for their assigned projects/liliField Supervisors will continue to provide technical assistance when needed. When workload dictates, they will be able to utilize other FEs to meet the project schedule./li/ulpLEADERSHIP TEAM PLAY/pulliHelp develop and improve company standards./liliDevelop Mentoring plans and continuously train new and current FEs./liliParticipate in peer reviews, turnover meetings, post mortem meetings and close out meetings as required./liliAssist in development of training and mentoring plans/liliParticipate in and conduct interviews with potential candidates/li/ulpPERSONAL DEVELOPMENT/pulliAttends seminars, enrolls in self-study courses, and undertakes other self-improvement measures to maintain proficiency and improve job performance./li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or GED/lili2+ years of experience in the HVAC, Construction or building automation and controls industry/lili1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite/liliClean and valid drivers license/liliCapable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment in excess of 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs./liliAbility to travel regionally with an occasional overnight stay./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3pOther qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:/pulliBachelors Degree or 5+ years of relevant experience./liliExperience interacting with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines./liliField experience and an understanding of the installation and operation of Automated Logic Controls and ability to understand/navigate third party control systems and integrations./liliExperience with Automated Logic software to include: WebCtrl, SiteBuilder, ViewBuilder, LogicBuilder, InterOp 3.02, Alert, Draw, EDB, Eikon and Supervision./liliA true team player who has the customers best interests first and foremost./li/ulh3Pay Range/h3pThe annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually.
