Construction Project Manager

Overview Job Title: Construction Project Manager / Estimator We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager / Estimator to oversee projects from pre-construction through completion. This role combines estimating responsibilities with project execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Pre-Construction / Estimating Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals Perform quantity take-offs and scope analysis from plans and specifications Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids Develop value engineering options to optimize cost and efficiency Assist in contract negotiations and project buyout Project Management Manage all phases of construction projects from kickoff to closeout Develop and maintain project schedules Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contracts Client & Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and consultants Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates Resolve issues proactively to maintain project momentum Field & Quality Oversight Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies Manage punch lists and project closeout documentation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred) 5+ years of experience in commercial construction Strong estimating and cost control experience Proficiency in estimating and project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Sage, or similar) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Key Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and leadership skills High attention to detail and organization Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Negotiation and subcontractor management expertise Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based bonuses Health insurance Paid time off and holidays Work Environment Combination of office and on-site project work Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Opportunity for growth within a dynamic construction team #J-18808-Ljbffr
