About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with JEDY Network to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901!

Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted


Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics


Certifications Required: BLS


General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry and protentional medical surgical diagnoses


Ratio / Census: 1:6; 38 bed unit with average daily census of 33


Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR


Scrub Color: Navy Blue


RTO: MAX 7 days


RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)


Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere


Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed


Call Requirements: None


Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Thanksgiving/Black Friday (counts as one)
Christmas Eve/Christmas Day (counts as one)
New Years Eve/New Years Day (counts as one)


Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) Hours is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 19hrs for 19 week assignment)
