Project Manager - Construction

Construction Project Manager Position SCI, an American based manufacturing company that specializes in providing highperformance furniture to the restaurant and food service industry is hiring a ConstructionProject Manager to work in their Sales Department. SCI has earned its reputation as one of the nation’s top suppliers of high-quality custom commercial and hospitality millwork and furniture.The company has been experiencing steady sales growth due to superior quality & world-class customer service.Our manufacturing philosophy is to build everything on site, so that we may control quality and offer the shortest lead-time in the industry.Core duties and responsibilities include the following: Understanding the scope of work of a new project (what we want to quote, what we are capable of building, review customer plan sets). Submit costing request for the project if needed to our estimation department. Assist customer service on creating quotes (correct descriptions, quantities, etc.). Attend site visits for field dimensions and project schedule coordination. Communicate ship date changes, custom item details and other pertinent information to the Director of Operations. Help communicate design intent to the engineers to ensure no details are overlooked. Assist in getting custom or long lead time materials on order. Quality review product on the floor to make sure the customer receives what they ordered. Revise orders with customer service as needed. Oversee installation as needed. Types of Orders that require project management are heavy millwork jobs,on site measurements and coordination, new brand store, large college orders with multiple buyouts. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in (Engineering or Construction preferred) and a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A detail-oriented professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven track record of working well as part of a team and as a self-starter to work independently.
