The Repair Technician performs repairs on branded storage containers at designated storage centers and drop lots, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards while supporting daily operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on company-branded storage containers as assigned, following established procedures and quality standards.
• Travel to and work at storage center locations and drop lots to complete repair assignments as needed.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to repair, assemble, and adjust container components.
• Operate a forklift to move, position, and support containers and materials during repair and assembly work.
• Perform assembly tasks related to container structures, parts, and fittings as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop area by performing regular shop cleanup duties.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and work areas before and after use to ensure safe operation and proper condition.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures while working with tools, equipment, and materials.
• Communicate with supervisors or team leads regarding job status, issues, or additional repair needs.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operations and team objectives.

• Proven ability to perform mechanical repairs on containers, equipment, or similar structures.
• Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, and measuring tools for repair and assembly work.
• Experience using power tools safely, including drills, grinders, saws, or similar equipment.
• Ability to operate a forklift or similar material-handling equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
• Capability to perform assembly tasks, including fitting, securing, and adjusting parts and components.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular shop cleanup.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures and work instructions.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.

• Previous experience working in a shop, warehouse, or industrial repair environment.
• Familiarity with container repair, metalwork, or structural maintenance.
• Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills to report issues, progress, and needs to supervisors or team members.

Work Environment

This role is based in a shop and storage yard environment, working primarily Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You perform repairs and assembly work at storage centers and drop lots, which may involve both indoor and outdoor conditions. You regularly use hand tools, power tools, and forklifts, and you work around large storage containers and related equipment. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization, with expectations to keep the shop area tidy and equipment in good condition. Appropriate work attire suitable for a shop and yard setting is required, including clothing and footwear that support safe, hands-on mechanical work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
