Temp - Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) - Rehab (Days)

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a rehabilitation setting providing evaluation and treatment of patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Schedule:

• Day Shift.
  
• 8-Hour Days.
  
• 35 Guaranteed Hours Weekly.
  
• No Weekends.
  
• No On-Call.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  
• Develop individualized plans of care.
  
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices.
  
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families.
  
• Complete required clinical documentation.
  
• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  
• Supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of SLP experience REQUIRED.
  
• Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience REQUIRED.
  
• Active Texas SLP License REQUIRED.
  
• CCC-SLP Certification REQUIRED.
  
• BLS Certification REQUIRED.
  
• Three years holding active CCC-SLP preferred.
