Case Review Specialist

The Role The Case Review Specialist ensures that case documentation is provided by the provider for accurate and timely determinations and coordinates with clinical and non‑clinical staff to facilitate case discussions. Primary Responsibilities Work rotational shifts within office hours (8 am‑8 pm EST) Monday‑Friday and Saturdays 8:30 am‑6 pm EST; shift schedules may change based on operational needs. Perform periodic on‑call responsibilities and be available for travel to the Atlanta office with personal transportation. Process cases, request/maintain clinical documentation, and transmit timely determinations via the internal system, phone, or mail. Intake Pre‑Authorization requests and/or inquiries on existing Pre‑Authorizations via phone, email, fax, or portal; respond within established metrics. Collaborate with clinical and non‑clinical staff to facilitate case discussions. Handle fax intake and labeling on weekends and holidays as needed. About You Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience (preferred). Experience working remotely and independently. Minimum of 2‑4 years of administrative or customer‑service experience, or equivalent education. Knowledge of pre‑authorizations and health insurance client‑services preferred. Experience implementing systems for program effectiveness and productivity. Proficient with MS Office Suite. Resides within 25 miles of the Atlanta office at 7000 Central Parkway, Suite 1750, Atlanta, GA 30328. Reliable personal transportation. Able to be in the office as required, with flexibility for power outages, internet disruptions, natural disasters, and mail‑based Pre‑Authorization requests. Location & Work Options OncoHealth offers remote, hybrid, or in‑office options. The majority of the team works remote or hybrid, with offices in Atlanta, GA and Guaynabo, PR. We consider nationwide applicants who can work primarily in the Eastern or Central Time Zones.
