Board Certified - Surgery - Trauma

Job Details:
Provide comprehensive general surgery services with approximately 10 patient encounters per shift
Perform adult and pediatric general surgery procedures
Manage trauma cases as part of a Level 3 trauma center
Perform laparoscopic surgery including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication
Perform chest wall and pleural procedures
Perform chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and PA catheter placement
Maintain active Arkansas medical license - AR license required, no IMLC accepted
Board certification required with ATLS certification required
Laser certification required
Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days (30 days for temps with clean data bank)
Nearest airport is Little Rock with local hotel accommodations available including Holiday Inn Express
