Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Position: Day/Evening Rotating Nurse (combination of 8, 10, and, 12-hour shifts to equate 40 hrs/week) D/E rotating, call as needed, weekend as needed. Not guaranteed 4 10s. We prefer RNs rated 3-4 in neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, and robotics (Da-Vinci). Experience in oncology is also preferred. Monday to Friday: Shift options: 06:30 - 17:00, 6:30 - 19:00 or 10:30 - 20:30 This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, which may be fulfilled through one of the following schedule options: Four 10-hour shifts (4x10s) Five 8-hour shifts (5x8s) Two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts (2x8s + 2x12s) *Please note that the schedule will be a combination of the above three shift options and will vary based on unit need.* Call: typically, staff sign up for 2-3/4-week schedule period. Depending on the shift, it may be requested to pick up the following calls- Evening-1500-2300 Night 2300-0700 Weekend 0700-1900, 1900-0700 Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience required BCLS certification required Circulate and scrub experience is preferred EPIC experience required Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care in a day/evening rotating schedule. Assist with circulating and scrubbing as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Agency staff have the following parking permit options (purchased through CampusParc at osu.campusparc.com): The WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits. The WMC permit is available monthly. WMC Monthly Permit: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days. WB Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; West Campus WB/WC lots 24/7 with shuttle service $196.20/year. CXS Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7 $393.96/year. WB Parking Details: Parking is available in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, approximately 1.7 miles from OSU Wexner Medical Center. The Pink Shuttle runs every 3 5 minutes during peak times and reaches the medical center in approximately 8 9 minutes. Weekend garage access is available from Friday at 2:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m. Outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply. Refund Information: Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancel by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge. Refund checks may take 3 5 weeks. Quick Summary WMC: Closest option with guaranteed garage access; highest cost.
