Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.Position OverviewAs a Quality Assurance Supervisor, your roles and responsibilities will include:Operational Expertise: Extensive experience in operations, quality assurance, and research & development (R&D) within the food industry.Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, effectively coordinating resources and timelines.Commercial Strategy and Development: Knowledge of the commercial strategy process and product/package development, including food safety regulations and plant commercialization.Cross-Functional Leadership: Strong communication skills with experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and drive organizational success.Statistical Analysis and Problem Solving: Proficient in statistical processes and employing problem-solving techniques to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.Supplier and Customer Collaboration: Experience collaborating with external manufacturing suppliers to ensure compliance with policies, as well as addressing quality-related issues with customers.QualificationsThe ideal Quality Assurance Supervisor would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:5 - 8 years' experience in Production, Manufacturing and qualityMinimum of 5 years' experience leading and managing a diverse work force in a Fast-Paced Team EnvironmentMinimum of 5 years' experience directly managing food quality/safety, receiving and delivery processes and programs.Deep expertise in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology, with a strong focus on the Quality Maintenance (QM) pillar, strongly preferred.Demonstrated success in driving performance improvements in complex environments, along with strong, proven leadership capabilities.High capability of leadership and technical assistance to operations and maintenance by aggressively managing food safety and compliance systems, instilling regulatory awareness and commitment.Certified or has a good knowledge on the SQF, FSSC 22000, HACCP and Kosher.Sound understanding of quality, sanitation, and warehouse environments.We understand that even if you are a seasoned Quality Assurance Supervisor you may not have all the skills listed here.Compensation: Based on Experience.
