We are seeking a professional and highly organized Cashier to join our team on a part-time basis, with a guaranteed transition to a full-time schedule within one to two months. This role is a perfect opportunity for a customer-oriented individual looking to establish a stable, long-term weekday routine. The position begins at two days per week and will shift to a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM once the full-time transition is complete.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately handling various payment methods, maintaining a balanced drawer, and providing exceptional service with a great attitude. Beyond the register, you will play a key role in operational support by stocking items as needed and assisting with the setup and organization of catering events. Metz Culinary Management offers competitive wages, benefits and Daily Pay* option! • Culinary Team Members: Our Team Members start their Culinary Career learning the front and back of the Dining Services Industry. In a hospitality driven, multi dining outlet setting, you will perform duties to include plating, set up and tear down of café, restaurant, retail areas, or assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories and sanitation. Must bring a strong work ethic, a SMILE and enjoy working in a TEAM environment. • Line and Prep Cooks: Prepare and present DELICIOUS meals and IMPRESSIVE presentations following our Executive Chef Menus. Ability to inventory and portion ingredients. Additionally, assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories and sanitation. Experience in resort would be ideal but willing to train the right person with a passion for food. • Catering Team Members: This is a great part time opportunity to learn and grow while providing a fun atmosphere to show off your HOSPITALITY and attention to detail creating beautiful presentations of food and displays. Catering Team Members create, transport, setup, serve and breakdown banquet-style food displays with amazing hospitality and guest experience focus. These catering events range from small casual business lunches to amazing and extravagant black-tie events. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This can be full or part-time and provides very flexible schedules. Hospitality experience is desired and a SMILE is required! Requirements:• Experience desired but we are willing to train candidates with a passion for food and understands the basics
• Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning
