Compensation: 19.00 per hour + Bonus Structure Position Summary Stevens Transport is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented CDL Driver Recruiting Support Specialist to connect with prospective truck drivers, screen applicants, and support the driver recruiting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, making calls, and helping candidates navigate the initial stages of the recruiting process. Key Responsibilities Contact prospective CDL drivers through warm leads, outbound calls, email, and referrals. Explain driving opportunities and generate interest in joining Stevens Transport. Screen applicants to determine qualifications and eligibility. Review applications, driving records, employment history, and required documentation. Maintain accurate candidate records and update applicant tracking systems. Schedule and confirm interviews with Driver Recruiters. Communicate with candidates throughout the early recruiting process. Partner with recruiters to identify qualified candidates and support hiring goals. Prepare recruiting reports and ensure compliance with applicable DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong communication, customer service, and telephone skills. Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred. Previous recruiting, sales, customer service, or transportation industry experience is a plus. Experience with Tenstreet ATS and knowledge of CDL/FMCSA requirements are preferred.
