This role will be located at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility.Role OverviewPerforms skilled shipping and receiving activities while independently managing assigned responsibilities related to inventory tracking, shipment coordination, material handling, and production support. Applies knowledge of shipping processes, documentation requirements, and inventory practices to ensure accurate and timely movement of materials throughout the organization.What You'll Do...Independently manage daily shipping and receiving activities, including packing, labeling, tracking, and shipment coordinationCoordinate shipments through carriers such as UPS, freight providers, and other logistics partnersMaintain accurate tracking of parts, inventory, drawings, and shipment documentationPerform receiving inspections and verify materials against purchase orders and documentationStage materials and jobs to support production schedules and operational requirementsConduct final visual inspections during packing and identify potential quality concernsMaintain organized shipping areas, inventory locations, and shipping suppliesOperate pallet jacks, hand trucks, cutters, and other required equipment safelySupport weekly inventory activities and assist with inventory accuracy improvementsReview work orders and documentation to verify shipment and receiving requirementsMaintain accurate records using Microsoft Word, Excel, and company systemsIdentify opportunities to improve shipping processes, organization, and efficiencyFollow all EHS policies, procedures, and safety requirementsYou have...EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentExperienceTypically requires a minimum of 1–2 years of related experienceExperience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing environmentsExperience coordinating shipments and maintaining inventory recordsExperience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and ExcelExperience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, and material handling equipment preferredSkills & CompetenciesAbility to independently complete assigned shipping and receiving tasksStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and changing deadlinesStrong communication skills with internal teams and external shipping partnersAbility to accurately maintain inventory and shipment recordsAbility to identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriatelyStrong teamwork and customer service mindsetAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervisionThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
