Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to an adult and geriatric ICU patient population with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage complex, high-acuity diagnoses including cardiogenic shock, respiratory failure, septic shock, DKA, complex arrhythmias, mechanical ventilator support, and uncontrolled seizures, among others
• Operate and document within unit systems including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR
• Work every other weekend, including six weekend shifts per six-week schedule period
• Adhere to holiday work requirements based on the number of major holidays falling within the assignment period
• Float within the facility and to a sister campus as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in GA or a Compact state required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or post-onsite
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; all compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with mechanical ventilator management (invasive and non-invasive) in a critical care setting
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience caring for post-operative patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring and extensive nursing care
