Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a minimum of 12 years' professional experience, with at least 5 years specifically in leading strategic communications for a mission-driven organization. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in campaigns and media, experience in managing diverse teams, and a history of shaping public discourse to support social and environmental causes. The successful candidate will be expected to lead a global strategy that is deeply rooted in local realities, set bold visibility goals, and develop initiatives to grow the movement of grassroots justice advocates.
