Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,121 a week in all, a taxable rate of $23.72 an hour plus $1,267 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a critical access hospital. The role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients requiring intensive monitoring and support, including ventilator management, arterial line care, and telemetry. The RN will work on a 12-hour day shift, every other weekend, in a 4-bed ICU unit, supporting patients with complex medical conditions.

• Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; Education: appropriate RN license (compact license acceptable); Experience: 1 year of ICU experience; Location: valid state license in hand; Years of Experience: 0 years minimum; and scheduling specifics: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week, starting 11/16/2026 and ending 02/15/2027.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/16/2026 and ending 02/15/2027.
• Additional Information: The unit includes a 4-bed ICU with a 2 RN model, caring for patients with high acuity ranging from overflow to critical ICU cases on ventilators. Equipment includes central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, ventilators, and BIPAP. The RN may be required to float between units based on unit needs. Candidates must work 3 of 5 holidays and request all RTO or specific scheduling requests upfront during submittal; post-approval RTO may not be granted. Certification in ARDS, Tracheostomy management, or related specialties is preferred.
• Submission Requirements: Must include responses to whether the candidate has previously worked at a Providence facility and provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years prior to start.
