Registered Nurse (RN)

Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality nursing care to patients attending the Outpatient programs. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment that puts patient care first while also having the opportunity to grow, learn, and advance in your career. Full-Time Day Shift: Monday-Friday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (no weekends)

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide medical management and assessment of patients.
• Ensure environmental safety and crisis management for the adolescent patient population.
• Document nursing care treatment and patient's response to treatment.
• Liaise with the treatment team to ensure a consistently therapeutic milieu.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing
• Experience: Minimum one (1) year as a RN in psychiatric nursing preferred
• Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas from the State Board of Nursing
• Certifications: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
