Senior Lead Fullstack Software Engineer

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus 5+ years of applied experience.
• We require 2+ years of experience leading technologists to resolve complex technical challenges within your area of expertise.
• We require 10+ years of experience building enterprise-grade software products.
• We require strong expertise in Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and JPA, or alternatively Python with a relevant microservices framework.
• We require experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and popular UI testing frameworks.
• We require proficiency in object-oriented design and test-driven development, with hands-on experience using test automation tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Playwright, and Cucumber.
• We require a solid understanding of security standards including OAuth, TLS, and Kerberos.
• We require familiarity with log and metrics collection tools and monitoring platforms such as the ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, and Splunk.
• We require proficiency with agentic AI coding tools such as Copilot, Claude, Windsurf, and Gemini.
• We require experience with event-driven processing using Kafka and other AMQP frameworks.
• We require hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Fortify.
• We require demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and setting team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Agile software development experience aligned to a product operating model is preferred.
• Experience building enterprise solutions focused on data analytics is preferred.
• Experience in finance reporting is preferred.
• Experience building cloud-native web applications is preferred.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases such as Cassandra is preferred.
• Experience with LLM-based implementations is preferred.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design, microservices patterns, and modern architectures is preferred.

• We provide technical direction and guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We drive adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• We apply knowledge of SDLC toolchain capabilities, including approved AI-assisted automation, to increase the value delivered at scale.
• We coach and develop a high-performing team, both locally and remotely.
• We identify opportunities to eliminate or automate fixes for recurring issues to strengthen application and system stability.
• We lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical credentials, and fit within existing systems and information architecture.
• We collaborate with end users and product teams to ensure timely alignment of technical deliverables.
• We escalate delivery risks to senior stakeholders across technology, product, and business, and we provide mitigation plans.
• We lead communities of practice across software engineering to increase awareness and adoption of leading-edge technologies.
