CDL A Truck Driver

Job Description\nRole Description This is a full-time, on the road CDL A Truck Driver role located in Phillipsburg, NJ. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport materials, supplies, and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading cargo, securing loads, and following all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations. The driver will maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and other required documentation, while coordinating schedules with dispatch to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. The role may also include basic vehicle care, communicating any maintenance issues, and assisting with general logistics or facility support as needed.\nQualifications\n\n\n Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and current DOT medical certification.\n Proven experience operating commercial trucks, including safe driving practices, maneuvering in urban and rural areas, and backing into docks or tight spaces.\n Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and proper load securement techniques.\n Ability to perform vehicle inspections, identify basic mechanical issues, and report maintenance needs promptly.\n Physical capability to lift, move, and secure materials and equipment, and to work in varying weather conditions.\n Strong time management, reliability, and attention to detail for maintaining schedules and accurate documentation.\n Professional communication skills for interacting with supervisors, and partners in a respectful, service-oriented manner.\n High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional safety or logistics training is a plus.\n
