About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP / Regulatory Counsel to play a pivotal role in ensuring the firm's adherence to all regulatory requirements, with a specific focus on the insurance brokerage and MGA sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on a range of regulatory compliance matters, monitoring and interpreting relevant federal, state, and local regulations, and developing and implementing robust compliance policies and procedures. This role also involves conducting compliance training, performing due diligence and risk assessments for MGA transactions, and representing the company in regulatory examinations and audits. Applicants for the VP / Regulatory Counsel position at the company must be admitted to the New York State Bar and have a strong background in regulatory compliance within the insurance industry, particularly in the areas of insurance brokerage and MGA regulations. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
