Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical exams and meticulous medical history reviews
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions via imaging studies and lab analyses
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons in developing and implementing tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, ranging from prepping the OR to managing patient positioning and handling surgical instruments
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care with responsibilities that include administering medications, managing wound care, planning for discharge, and educating patients about their recovery

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
