Marketing And Sales ManagerCanary Systems is an electronic hardware and software engineering firm specializing in instrumentation and monitoring of structures to help manage operational and safety risks. We operate in several markets including construction, mining, geotechnical, industrial and public infrastructure.We are seeking an energetic and talented Marketing and Sales Manager to work out of our headquarters in New London, NH or our Tucson, AZ satellite office to help in our business initiatives in cooperation with other company leadership. Candidates will require a technology related sales & solution background and the ability to break down, present and market complex software, electronics and engineering products and services in easy-to-understand ways. This position will report to the CEO.Responsibilities Include:Manage our Marketing and Sales team (3 staff) and outside resources.Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in target markets, and develop relationships with them to secure new businessCreate and maintain a customer databaseReporting on group sales activities, pipeline, and forecastingAchieve sales targets, at expected profit margins, by converting leads into salesWork with Marketing and Sales resources to organize collateral including data sheets, brochures, and marketing merchandiseConducting client demonstrations and presentations of our products and services, both remote and in personOrganizing, writing, and reviewing Proposals, Quotes and SubmittalsWorking with other Group Managers on client retention and key account initiativesConducting internal sales training programsExpertise Desired:Background/experience in solution sales, preferably within the mining or civil engineering industriesProven track record of achieving sales targets and expected profit marginsExcellent communication and sales presentation skills and techniques, and competent in using presentation tools such as PowerPoint.Electronic product and/or software sales ExperienceManagement experienceRelevant Degree or Postgraduate qualificationsPerson Best Suited to Position:Able to work independently & as team playerHighly organizedDetail orientedSelf-motivatedCool under pressureExcellent communicator (both verbal and written)Able to travel domestically and internationally as requiredWhat We Offer:Work for a global leader in a rapidly growing market segmentWork in a highly motivated team of professionalsCareer and growth opportunityCompetitive salary and benefitsSalary commensurate with education and experience.
