Ortho Assistant

Family Orthodontics is seeking a dependable and energetic Orthodontic Assistant to join our fast‑paced practice. Schedule Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday | 7:15 AM - 4:30 PM Requirements Orthodontic assisting experience required Ability to work in a fast‑paced and high‑volume office Experience with bonding, bracket placement/removal, wire changes, scans, impressions, and orthodontic adjustments Knowledge of orthodontic appliances and procedures Strong communication and multitasking skills Georgia Expanded Duties preferred Education / Credentials A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is required. Radiography requirements according to the state regulations. Job Related Experience Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired. Pediatric experience, preferred Job‑related Skills / Competencies Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills – must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships. Must be customer‑service oriented and able to communicate with a pleasant demeanor at all times. Effective written and verbal communication is a must with all staff and management. Must project a capable and professional image – one that is reflective of Company Values. Excellent organizational skills – strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner. PC skills with an ability to learn and successfully use new software programs as required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office is preferred; as well as experience with a fax machine, copy machine, and general office equipment.
