Virtualization Engineer

Key Responsibilities

✅ Design, deploy, and maintain VMware vSphere environments, ESXi hosts, and vCenter infrastructure.

✅ Administer and optimize VMware vSAN, including storage policies, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

✅ Architect and support VMware NSX-T networking and security solutions, including micro-segmentation.

✅ Manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments and integrated platform services.

✅ Perform upgrades, patching, and compliance management using VMware Lifecycle Manager (vLCM).

✅ Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, PowerCLI, VMware Aria Automation, and Orchestrator.

✅ Monitor virtualization infrastructure performance and conduct root cause analysis for complex issues.

✅ Ensure security compliance, system hardening, auditing, and access management across virtualized environments.

✅ Collaborate with storage, networking, security, and application teams to deliver enterprise solutions.

✅ Create and maintain architecture documentation, disaster recovery procedures, and operational runbooks.

✅ Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support for infrastructure initiatives.
