Moderate The facility is receiving a steady flow of submissions — a good time to get yours in Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a TX or compact license to work night shifts and manage complex critical care patients. Details ICU unit with 10 beds Patient ratio of 1:2 Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12, 19:00-7:00 Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required at time of submission BLS and ACLS certifications required NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred Minimum 2 years of ICU experience preferred Prior travel nursing experience preferred Teaching and community hospital experience preferred Skilled in IV therapy, arterial and central line management, PICC line care, and blood product administration Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, ABG interpretation, and chest tube assistance Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, IV sedation, and IV insulin protocols Knowledge of CVA/stroke management and multisystem organ dysfunction care Experience with pre/post cardiac catheterization and Swan Ganz monitoring Skilled in dysrhythmia interpretation and management Additional Information Care for critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and life support interventions Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted Former staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is allowed during the first week of orientation Travel pairs or groups are not accepted These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
