Production Worker

Evergreen Linen Solutions located at 402 Blue Bell Street, Oneonta, Alabama 35121 is hiring production workers for their commercial laundry and linen service provider. Job is full-time, 40-hours per week, M-F from 9am until work is completed. Will train to perform various duties from sorting linens and preparing items for washing. Will sorted soiled linens by type and by item while preparing items for washing. Will train how to load industrial washing machines and drying machines. Will train how to feed linens and towels into ironers, folders, and spreaders. Will inspect linens and towels for stains, tears, and poor-quality. Will also fold, bundle, and package linens, and towels per Evergreen specification and standards. Will maintain a clean and safe work environment, including adherence to sanitation, PPE, and safety guidelines for healthcare-related textiles. Will clean work area at the end of shift prior to leaving. Will load and upload laundry carts. Will monitor machinery and report any malfunctions to supervisors. Will meet work quotas while maintaining Evergreen Linen Solutions quality standards. Will assist in performing a daily inventory count of linen items and types to maintain an accurate record of work done by employees for each customer. Will work as part of a team in a fast-paced commercial laundry production environment. Meeting a 24-hour turnaround window to provide our customers' needs for clean lean linens and towels.
