Job Description: Middle School Guidance Counselor Requirements: AZ Guidance Counselor Certification Valid AZ Fingerprint Card Experience to include:
- Master Scheduling - Knowledge of Powerschool software a plus
- AP scheduling, testing and coordination
- Coaching students on college and career readiness
- Direct support service to individual students, small groups, and classrooms
- Refer students and their parents to community agencies, programs or specialists when appropriate
- Provide student supervision to promote a safe school environment
- Work in conjunction with Administration on antibullying, antidrug and coping skills initiatives
- Student Enrollment support including hospitality to families, giving tours, scheduling of students and promoting participation in extracurricular school activities
- Other duties as assigned
